Bassetlaw Spring Clean 2024

The Parish Council is pleased to announce that we will be taking part once again in the annual ‘Bassetlaw Spring Clean’ event. The Spring Clean Event is an annual event organized by Bassetlaw District Council to encourage communities to take ownership of the litter left in their communities and restore nature to a pristine natural state.

So please be sure to join us on Sunday 24th March 2024 as we will be hosting a number of session across the Parish:

📍Norton – Cllr Helen Reynolds – Norton Playpark ⏰️ 10:00am

📍Holbeck – Cllr Gemma Palmer – 8 High Holbeck⏰️ 10:00am

📍Cuckney – Cllr Nancy Wright – Cuckney Community Garden⏰️ 10:00am

If you are unable to make the morning round, please liaise with the organiser in your village and they will assist you in making other arrangements.

Please be aware that we are not permitted to litterpick on the verges of ‘A’ roads. Litter pickers, hi-viz jackets, gloves and black bags will be provided but please be aware that we must return all this equipment to Bassetlaw, so please make sure that everything you take out is returned back.
