Cllr. David Wall

I became a member of the Holbeck and Welbeck Parish Council in 2015, following some time working on the local neighbourhood plan.  I was privileged to be Chair of Holbeck and Welbeck PC for the last few years before it merged into NCHW.

I was lucky enough to live in Welbeck village for seven years, but now live locally.  I have worked on the Estate for 15 years.

Prior to living at Welbeck I studied and lived in Leicester, before moving to London and then back to Huddersfield where I’m from originally.

I’m a keen walker and enjoy hiking around the local area – it’s some of the nicest countryside around.  I have travelled extensively through Southern France and the north east of Spain – usually tracking down vineyards.  I also enjoy gardening, either at home or helping in the Walled Garden on the Welbeck Estate.
